Welcome back. I'm busy doing my homeschool planning for next year but I'll be here occasionally keeping you updated. You may find just what you came for and if you don't, then keep checking back!
- To make this traditional playdough, mix all the ingredients over medium heat until smooth.
- Add the food coloring last.
- Remove from heat when it looks like the end product.
- Knead until blended.
- If it is too sticky, add 1 tsp of oil.
Ingredients for small batch:
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cups warm water
- 2 tsp cream of tartar
- 2 tsp oil
- 1/4 cup salt
- food coloring
To make several colors, you can triple the batch and split the playdough up at the end before you add food coloring.
Thank you to my friend, Amy, for sharing this awesome playdough recipe with me. We enjoyed making it together and playing with it. We are storing it in ziplock baggies for safe keeping.
