Welcome back. I'm busy doing my homeschool planning for next year but I'll be here occasionally keeping you updated. You may find just what you came for and if you don't, then keep checking back!
{{the history}}
I was a lanky girl with straight blond hair. I never quite knew why I didn’t fit in with everyone else, but I also knew that I didn’t want to. If my peers were turning left, then I wanted to turn right.
{{the growth}}
Growing up in a broken home meant going back and forth from my dad’s house to my mom’s house and confusion was a huge part of my growing up. Thank God he made me strong. His hand was on my life and I can only say that I grew so much through my circumstances. In the midst of my individuality grew a leader.
{{the plunge}}
When I was away at college, I met a boy. He turned out to be the love of my life and my whole world stopped. It literally stopped. He taught me that love has no limits. We decided to throw caution to the wind and make a go at fixing all the things that had broken us. He had come from a broken family too.
{{the skinny}}
We married young and we are still in love. We still like to talk about who was probably making bets at our wedding that we wouldn’t make it. We didn’t care. Once we were married we made certain to never align ourselves with the way of the world. We’ve marched our family to the beat of our own drum.
Fourteen years later, we’ve been blessed with five beautiful children that we are raising to be outstanding citizens, passionate about learning, and servants of the Lord.
Always learning,
